There's much ado in Hong Kong over the implementation of National and Moral Education, which starts today in some local schools. National and Moral Education is largely seen as a Beijing brainwashing operation to feed Hong Kong kids whatever the Party line is currently, and whatever the cadres want them to believe about the past, so there has been a huge outcry from parents, kids and some teachers. Despite all this, some schools patriotically started teaching it today, the rest have three years to comply; presumably anyone not falling in line after that will be in line for some "special" education.
